Role Overview
As a Public Sector Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our outside sales initiatives, manage accounts, be responsible for establishing and nurturing business relationships within the assigned territory. Your goal is to drive new business by selling vehicles that meet the unique needs of our customers. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Sales Manager, you'll play a critical role in achieving sales targets and enhancing market penetration.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5 or more years of progressive experience in industrial, fleet vehicle, specialty vehicle, or other B2B/B2G sales. Prior experience working in or with the government sector is a plus
Travel: Ability to travel 25-40% of the time.
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for determining solutions for customers.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
License: Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
