What does a Modern Animal Lead Veterinarian do?
- Model excellent medical practice to a team of Veterinarians
- Empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience both in-clinic and virtually
- Mentor Associate Doctors regarding the improvement of individual metrics/performance with respect to client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and production
- Collaborate with the practice’s Lead Technician to provide guidance to the practice team, and foster an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and excellence
- Implement the Modern Animal cultural vision by encouraging flexible scheduling, self-compassion, and a blame- and judgement-free work environment
- Lead and participate in activities that support the well-being of veterinary practitioners by making the profession both joyful and sustainable
Requirements of a Modern Animal Lead Veterinarian
- Prefer at least 1 year of experience managing & leading teams of veterinarians and 5 years of experience as a Veterinarian
- Must have active license to practice veterinary medicine in California at the start of employment with Modern Animal
- License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions
