What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, End to End Supply Chain position at ModernaTX, Inc.?
The Role: This highly dynamic role is responsible for performing multiple activities in support of Moderna’s Manufacturing and Planning at our Norwood facility. Creating and maintaining a valid site production schedule, at a daily and shift level, for all resources to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of production plan for approved programs in portfolio. The Scheduler works in close cooperation with the Commercial Operations teams to ensure that risks are identified, and issues solved in a timely way through structured Tier meetings. Here’s What You’ll Do: Work directly with Operations to ensure all required production is adequately scheduled and executed to plan to meet demand. Create and maintain detailed site plan/production for operations related production areas: material bundling, process intermediates, manufacturing, drug substance/product and maintenance/support operations. Lead/Participate in daily Tier meeting with cross functional team to align and facilitate discussions on manufacturing updates, quality events, shipping schedules and facility operations. Responsible for developing production schedule to meet demand requirements including rough cut capacity planning, and finite daily scheduling. Communicate KPI’s and metrics that track the effectiveness of planning and manufacturing execution. Responsible for committing delivery dates on firm orders based on Production and Quality capacity requirements planning. Work with the Materials Management team to resolve any discrepancies as it relates to JIT deliveries. Ensures translation of Master Production Schedule (MPS) into Material Requirements for intermediates (DS, LNP). Supports Product Supply Chain Managers in Demand Management and Supply Planning Define sequence, establish priorities for all process orders at each work center and control the execution of the plan. Support studies and analysis based on new scenarios, projects, Budget cycles or reforecast. Support data for metrics and KPIs for the area. Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table: Between 1 to 3 years of experience in site production planning inside a Supply Chain or manufacturing operation Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related field. Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field Ability to manage multiple topics in a fast-paced environment and deal with different stakeholders from different domains in the organization. Analytical skills and system driven mind but ability to think outside of the box Demonstrated ability to think critically, and work both independently and as part of a team to identify solutions. Knowledge of GMP requirements and MRP/ERP systems and experience in SAP implementation.
