General Manager:
The General Manager is primarily responsible for the overall growth of the facility. The General Manager will work to build business and hit club goals by establishing relationships with new and existing members, as well as to oversee the growth and development of staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of club membership and personal training database
- Lead and provide guidance to the employees at the club
- Actively prospect new clients and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients
- Schedule appointments with members to discuss benefits of the club and memberships
- Participate in community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote the club
- Provide club tours for prospective members
- Provide excellent member service to current and prospective members
- Meet overall club goals
- Maintain and promote company values and culture
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in sales, business and management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and the ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Work regular hours with a set schedule
