What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance-Supervisor - MI position at Modineer Company?
Reports to: Corporate Facilities Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday (6AM – 2PM) Overtime as needed.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Must be a highly motivated individual who is self-directed and able to work with very little supervision. Will perform preventive and predictive maintenance to the equipment as well as trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Proficiency in programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, DL06, etc), and H.M.I. systems is a requirement. Knowledge of robotic welders and stamping presses is a plus.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to equipment.
- Trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues
- Proficiency in programming programmable logic controllers, i.e., Allen Bradley, DL06, etc.
- Proficiency in H.M.I systems.
- Troubleshoot Robotic Welders, Stamping Presses, Benders, etc.
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Read and understand measurement devices
- Comply with safety/compliance regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Track and maintain ALL electronic records on maintenance and repairs to machine and facility.
- Set working hours for department and maintain approval through Corporate Facilities Mgr.
- Direct and delegate workload to Maintenance employees
- Ensure all process, procedures, and documentation are ISO compliant.
Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
- Must have working knowledge of hand tools such as wrenches, saws, air tools, etc…
- Must be able to accurately complete all required Modineer production system documentation such as production reports, inspection reports, etc.
- Forklift experience is required in order to do maintenance as needed.
- Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
- Must have working knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc…
- Four years related experience or training or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Two years’ experience in a Supervisory role.
Physical environment/working conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
