Job Description
A Permitting coordinator role is available in Alpharetta, GA courtesy of Akkodis. We are looking for someone with at least 1-3 years of experience with project coordination/administrative support experience
Job Responsibilities:
Supports a team with assigned tasks, projects and could include, but is not limited to, the following: correspondence, various administration tasks, tracking project deliverables, dates and monitoring deadlines, provides regular and timely reports highlighting variances as they arise
Pay Range- $29-31.15 per hour/ $60,320-64,792 per year
Contract length -6 month Contract, with the possibility of extension
• Location: Alpharetta, GA
***Hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, two days remote
Job Responsiblities:
• Provides support with all aspects of preparing and securing entitlements as needed within public rights of way and public utility easements.
• Updates necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that status updates are maintained with complete accuracy, including third party management systems.
• Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external).
• Develops and maintains accurate and complete files for projects and programs; continues to monitor for integrity and completeness.
• Provides ad hoc reports as requested.
• Maintain check book compliance and manage check requests.
• Moderate to advanced Excel, Database agility, and Microsoft Suites. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Education/Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
• One (1) to three (3) years in a general business environment with project coordination and/or administrative support experience preferred
Other Skills/Abilities
• Computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn a variety of new tracking and software programs
• Excellent organizational/administrative skills
• Strong Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
• Strong communication skills
• Basic telecommunications experience/knowledge preferred
Education/Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelors Degree preferred
