Job Description
Akkodis is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in Rochester, NY.
Pay/Salary Range: $45-$58/hour DOE
The Senior Project Manager job responsibilities include:
Managing IT and non-IT Projects Excellent team player Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Significant experience managing project teams in an indirect mgmt. structure Program Mgmt. experience is a plus Very positive attitude Very solid PM Skills walking in the door (i.e., project scheduling, risk mgmt., team building, meeting facilitation, issue resolution, team mgmt., etc.) Ability to pick up tools and processes quickly Experience and comfortability with MS Project Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of Sr. PM experience
Ability to communicate with Sr. Mgmt. and Business Leaders PMP Preferred Solid experience managing both Business Projects and IT Projects Comfortability with project financials including budget tracking, accruals, POs, etc.
