What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Human Resources II position at Moen?
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for providing strategic and tactical support in all areas of HR. He/she will partner with leadership to execute HR strategies in designated business units, serve as a consultant to management on HR policies and procedures as well as act as an employee champion and change agent. The HR Manager will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services that help drive decision making within the Business Units.
Responsibilities
- Assume primary ownership of the short and long-term Human Resources (HR) strategies for designated Business Units; serve as a champion for the unique employees’ needs in each business
- Establish business and strategic partnerships with designated Business Units by serving as an active and contributing member on leadership teams
- Serve as the primary Business Unit liaison for all HR functions at Moen by consulting with employees and leadership on all HR matters
- Collaborate with Human Resources Directors to provide meaningful analytics to drive informed decision making in support of all Business Units and support functions

Provide strategic and tactical HR support including:
- Performance management
- Resolving complaints and grievances
- Managing and facilitating HR policies and programs
- Counseling and/or training employees and management
- Managing the introduction and administration of HR programs
- Leading and facilitating change and succession planning
- Supporting talent acquisition, development and retention efforts
- Ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) or a related field is required. In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience will be considered. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience encompassing all areas of human resources including: HR consulting and analytics, talent acquisition, organizational development, employment law, compensation, performance management and employee relations is required.
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus.
- Experience in change management and process improvement is desired.
- Must possess superior analytical skills, including a proven ability to analyze business needs and use data to drive decision making.
