The Receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing guests, collecting the appropriate documentation, and managing the flow of the dispensary. This position works closely with teammates and leadership to ensure an excellent guest experience.
What You’ll Do
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Welcoming each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language.
Answering, assisting, and directing all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner.
Taking orders and forwarding information to Budtenders.
May assist checking out guests using the express register all while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Maintaining the comfort of guests in reception proactively answering preliminary questions.
Accurately entering, processing, and storing guest identification and other documentation to maintain organized records of guest interactions, verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests.
Accept and process online orders through the point of sale system (POS).
Notifying Budtenders of guest arrival and managing flow of guests to the sales floor to ensure a positive, seamless experience.
Prepare menus for the day and verify sales are on the whiteboard for the day.
Operate point of sale (POS) and Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) portal
Performing related clerical work and projects such as typing, filing, and sorting mail distribution.
Using applicable software to create inventories, letters, and other business-related documents.
Managing and ordering office supplies.
Ensuring a clean and professional appearance of front office, reception area and customer restroom at all times.
Adhering to all Cannabis laws and state regulations.
Reporting suspicious activity to management.
Following all policies and procedures related to the dispensary.
What You Bring
Must be at least 21 years of age.
One year of reception experience (or equivalent customer related ability); cannabis industry experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, holiday and evening hours.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer relationship skills
