What are the responsibilities and job description for the BioPharma Workflow Applications Manager position at Molecular Devices?
The BioPharma Workflow Applications Specialist is responsible for driving CLD and workflow solutions that achieve YoY revenue growth targets and increase market share for the BioPharma and associated Molecular Devices CLD Products.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate is a visionary that understands where Cell Line Development and Drug Discovery (CLD and DD) markets are headed over the next 3-5 years to help the company meet growth objectives
Use CLD and DD expertise to manage CLD Applications on the newly created CLD/DD Organoid Innovation Center in San Jose, CA.
Develop and maintain virtual demo process for utilizing Biopharma and DD instruments on the OIC for customer demonstrations. Including scripts, protocols, and data visualization.
Run and maintain automation protocols for Biopharma scheduling software (Green Button Go, Genera, etc) on Organoid Innovation Center and associated Biopharma products.
Help create marketing and sales collateral, such as App Notes, Posters, Webinars
Assist and support pre and post BioPharma sales activities, including remote/onsite product demonstrations, technical demonstrations, trade show activities, webinars and trainings.
Work closely, advise and translate CLD knowledge to the commercial teams for the purpose of having all product line sales and FAS’s become experts at “Application-Focused Workflow Value Selling” and “Cross-Portfolio Selling”
KPI tracking to measure leading and lagging performance
Proficient with SFDC CRM and Power BI for automated report generation
Manage relationships with CLD key opinion leaders (KOLs) and conduct voice of customer (VOC) interviews when necessary.
Qualifications
Candidate must be an expert with Cell Line Development application workflows.
Will have a creative, solution-oriented thinking process with strong attention to detail
5-10 years working knowledge of cell screening in drug development
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a Biological Science plus demonstrated training and/or experience
M.S./PhD in Cell Biology or equivalent is highly desired
Automation Experience is desired
