The Headlines:
In the role, North Amer. DC & W/H Sr. Manager, working in Milwaukee, WI, you will own the development and management of budget for 3rd Party warehousing in the US market, including issuance of POs, invoice approval s and payments, and providing direction on lease and service provider agreement contract renewals. Defines, manages, and reports key performance metrics to ensure 3rd Party warehousing contributes to achieving MCBC world class performance.

The Responsibilities:
  • Leads development and execution of North America warehousing and DC network strategy, including driving efficiencies through development of network footprint and warehousing/DC model strategies
  • Leads integration of WCSC 2.0 based continuous improvement and management processes in DCs, ensuring strong operating linkage to brewery operations and customer service
  • Supports resolution of safety, service-related, and contractual issues related to 3rd Party warehousing
  • Leads Quarterly Business Reviews with DC partners to drive KPI performance in line with MCBC objectives
  • Strong collaboration with Sales and overall Supply Chain on matters of market delivery and S&OP.
  • Strong collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain and Distributors to ensure ability to meet commercial execution and innovation plans
  • Strong collaboration with the inventory control team to ensure coverage and optimal inter-region freight.
  • Be a integral support to the business for managing, monitoring, and driving down full goods obsolescence while delivering world class OTIF

The Other Qualifications:
  • Understanding of supply chain network design and warehousing/DC models
  • Logistics and supply chain management knowledge and application of enterprise supply chain principles and practices to maximize logistics and transportation effectiveness and competitive advantage.
  • Customer focused with ability to develop partnerships with key suppliers, distributors, breweries, import / export partners.
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain/logistics systems and processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills managing external suppliers/partners including transportation companies and public warehousing, operating with a sense of urgency
  • Business/financial acumen skills applied to strategy development
  • Executive presentation skills
  • 3 to 4 Years network design and business strategy development
  • 5 to 8 Years transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products.
  • Either a Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business OR equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally internally and externally in the pursuit and implementation of business objectives.
  • Broad based managerial and leadership skills to successfully lead and influence internal and external team members.
  • Structured and methodical approach in determining priorities, identifying solutions, and leading implementation.
