Position Overview:
Momentum is seeking a self-motivated employee who will be responsible for identifying, nurturing and qualifying inbound and outbound sales opportunities.
The successful Sales Development Representative (SDR) has excellent, professional telephone/communication skills, well organized, able to multi-task, and comfortable and/or experienced in contacting and conversing with senior business executives and technical buyers. Most importantly, you must have a desire to compete and win.
The SDR will act as the first or second contact for Momentum sales prospects. A successful SDR will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships and sell in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to collaborate in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills and hold yourself accountable to the highest level of standards.
This position can be fully remote.
Job Duties:
- Identify opportunities for new sales through research, discovery and qualification of new leads.
- Effectively deliver value proposition to new prospects.
- Contact daily outbound calling lists as provided by their corresponding Regional Sales Executive (RSE)
- Source new leads through creative outbound methods
- Be a beacon of knowledge and expertise for Momentum Telecom
- Follow up on previously called leads to further qualify for the RSE team
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly pipeline goals
- Develop weekly call plans outlining how you will have success in your sales territory
- Consistently deliver feedback to Marketing and Sales
- Daily management and accurate updating of Salesforce (CRM/Customer Relationship Management system).
- Fulfill campaign requirements
- Some Travel (optional, less than 10%)
- May work from home or office (if one is nearby)
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Self-Motivated
- 1 years of sales experience (recent grads also encouraged to apply)
- Ability to take direction and coaching to develop best practices
- Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English required, additional Languages are a plus!
- Familiar with Salesforce CRM, MS 365, and open to learning about new platforms. Experience with ZoomInfo/Engage a plus
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in understanding Momentum Telecom products and services within 3 months of hire
- Interested and able to make multiple outbound and follow-up calls to potential customers/leads each day.
- This position is essential in driving company revenue goals through sales leads. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
