POSITION SUMMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate services for patient registration including greeting patients, collecting demographic data and insurance information, collecting co-pays, and communicating with other departments.
- Act as a liaison between departments to foster open communication and teamwork, utilizing positive and effective communication with all team members.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in all situations.
- Position requires occasional on call, evening and / or weekend hours.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Computer experience and a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
- One (1) year of customer service and / or clerical experience
- Patient registration and / or health care experience preferred
