Store Manager

Looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our macaron bakery located in Downtown Raleigh. Mon Macaron is known for its delicious macarons, wine, and espresso, located in the growing Seaboard Station neighborhood.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of up to 10 skilled baristas and bakers, including scheduling and training.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (S.O.Ps) and hold team accountable to processes and procedures.
• Oversee wholesale and custom orders via e-mail, website, and phone.
• Create baking schedules that accommodate all orders and retail store needs.
• Manage inventory, ordering from suppliers, controlling food costs, and ensuring safety stock levels.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and an exceptional experience.
• Work alongside the baking team to complete the baking and filling process for macarons, including weighting, sifting, prepping ingredients, making meringues, dough, piping macarons, mixing, and preparing ganache fillings.
• Adhere to ServSafe health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Create and maintain cleaning schedules for the team to ensure a clean, organized workspace.
• Work with the marketing team on events and promotions, ensuring proper event staffing and flow and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage a team and schedule labor hours effectively.
• Passion for customer service and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, some evenings required for events.
• Hospitality/food industry management experience is required, with pastry and baking experience preferred.

Pay:

• $20 per hour to start, moving to a salaried position with PTO and other benefits.
• This is a full-time position.
• Company-sponsored supplemental health and accident plans are available after 90 days.
