Building owners and operators waste billions of dollars in energy, emergency repairs, downtime and food waste due to HVAC/R equipment failing. Tragically, these systems also generate the same amount of greenhouse gasses as 43 million gas cars and contribute significantly towards global warming.
Monaire offers predictive maintenance & energy management solutions to help small commercial building owners and operators reduce HVAC/R waste.
Monaire’s proprietary combination of low-cost hardware, predictive analytics, and contractor services drives 30% savings on energy and maintenance costs for commercial owner-operators, while eliminating the stress and hassle of coordinating repairs.
Monaire launched in Madison, WI in March 2022 and is currently servicing over 100 locations in Wisconsin. We have acquired these customers 100% via referrals - validating our product-market fit. This role presents an opportunity for you to lead sales in pursuit of scaling Monaire to 1000 locations by the end of 2024.

Proactively source and nurture high-potential leads and skillfully navigate the entire sales journey from initial outreach to closing deals:
Uncover and qualify promising prospects through a multi-pronged approach, leveraging industry events, online research, and targeted marketing initiatives.
Initiate and conduct insightful discovery calls to delve into the customer’s business objectives and pain points as it relates to HVAC and Refrigeration systems, utility bills, repair costs and downtime.
Introduce the Monaire solution as the ideal solution to address their unique needs and challenges, specifically targeting HVAC and refrigeration equipment for their business.
Craft tailored proposals that align seamlessly with each customer's specific requirements and budgetary constraints.
Expertly negotiate and finalize deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing revenue potential.
Cultivate and nurture enduring partnerships with customers, establishing yourself as their indispensable confidant and advisor in all aspects of their HVAC and Refrigeration systems needs:
Maintain regular engagement with clients, providing ongoing support, guidance, and consultation tailored to their specific HVAC and refrigeration needs.
Proactively identify and address potential issues or concerns with the utmost urgency, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering unwavering loyalty.
Seize opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary solutions to existing clients, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their continued success.
Collaborate cross-functionally to realize common objectives:
Forge strategic partnerships with the marketing team to devise and implement impactful sales strategies, encompassing targeted campaigns, engaging content marketing initiatives, and captivating industry events.
Maintain close collaboration with the operations and onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition and unwavering support for new clients, fostering an exceptional customer experience from the outset.
Actively contribute valuable feedback and insights to product development and engineering teams, ensuring that the company's solutions remain aligned with evolving market needs and consistently surpass the expectations of restaurateurs.
Cultivate a keen awareness of industry trends and competitive dynamics to seize opportunities and mitigate risks:

To be successful in the role, you must have
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the customer industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively engage with decision-makers at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address restaurateurs' business challenges.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with customers, fostering long-term relationships.
Proficiency in using Zoho/SalesForce/Zendesk CRM platforms or a similar customer relationship management system.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales goals.
Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
