We are professional, inclusive, supportive, and our goal is to provide quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental, and physical disabilities. We are seeking quality DSP's for Mahoning County to help support our individuals who need assistance.
We have full-time and part time positions available. All applicants must be able to work in homes with pets and provide full care if needed. There are NO midnight shifts, and we are seeking primarily afternoons and weekend. We have some early morning short shifts as well (6a-8a).

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional's to join our team and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals in their home or community setting, assisting with activities of daily living, developing positive relationships with clients, and advocating for their rights. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Some Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities.
- Help individuals to achieve their goals and objectives.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in their home, school, or community setting.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene needs.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Transfers and utilizing mobility devices
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Safe, supported mobility and transfers
- Eating daily meals and snacks
- Managing toileting needs or incontinence
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license, insurance, reliable transportation and less than 6 points on driving record
- English
- Social security card, birth certificate, and work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable and effective communication
- Experience working with individuals who have physical and mental disabilities.
- Valid CPR/First aid (no online certification)
- Professionalism, good communication skills, and reliability
- Ability and willingness to complete and pass background and drug screenings when asked.
- Ability and willingness to drive individuals when needed.
