This Opportunity: The primary purpose of this role is to provide initial and recurring training, including but not limited to First Aid/CPR/AED and Safety-Care within a designated Monarch service area (West, Central, East). Occasional travel outside of assigned area may be required, as needed. Monarch will offer trainer certification opportunities as a part of this position. What You'll Do: • Coordinates and performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, certificates, etc. • Coordinate and secure training locations, necessary equipment required, assist staff with training registrations and information • Manage ongoing training calendars for First Aid/CPR/AED and Safety-Care • Administers and reviews course evaluations with managers that measure learner reactions to, and satisfaction with, a class and adjusts training accordingly. • Serves as backup for New Hire orientation trainings • Maintain trainings as required and requested • Contribute to Organizational Development department's success by participating in cross-training within the Human Resources department and assist in other areas as needed. • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures • Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor • Driving and travel will be required, including periodic scheduled overnight trips/weekend trainings with advanced notice Additional Information (If Applicable): Education We're Looking For: Bachelors (Required) Certifications We're Looking For: CPRP - Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner - American Academy of Professional Coders, North Carolina Driver License (Valid) - NC Division of Motor Vehicles, Safety-Care Crisis Prevention - QBS Experience We're Looking For: Training and development Target Weekly Hours: 40 Monarch is an Equal Opportunity Employer Monarch offers opportunities as diverse as the people we support and the communities we serve.
