What does the job entail?
- Manage sales orders, including data entry, order processing, and tracking.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing information about products, services, and sales transactions.
- Prepare sales reports, including sales forecasts, sales trends, and customer feedback.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating travel, and preparing presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that sales operations are running smoothly.
- Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and policies.
- Continuously improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
What kind of person are we looking for?
As a Sales Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing the administrative tasks related to sales operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with the sales team, and generating reports. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department.
More practical skills needed:
- Track top of funnel metrics
- Report on week over week month over month outreach, conversions, and closes
- Ensure that sales orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Generate accurate sales reports that provide valuable insights into sales trends and customer feedback.
- Support the sales team in achieving their targets by providing timely and effective administrative support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that sales operations are running smoothly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and policies that improve sales performance.
- Continuously improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, reducing errors and increasing productivity.
