Client Services Lead - Full-time / Part-Time
Purpose:
To acquire, cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients through deep product knowledge, personal engagement, and luxury service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcomes everyone with an outgoing and professional attitude throughout all areas of the store.
- Exhibits behaviors that support client satisfaction goals; takes pride in detailed, attentive, and exceptional customer service.
- Acquires and builds the store’s customer base while cultivating client relationships by creating meaningful and personalized connections and making each client interaction a seamless and memorable experience.
- Drives repeat business through local grass roots networking and our loyalty program.
- Communicates effectively with clients to answer questions and provide informative advice.
- Ability to anticipate customer and store needs and make recommendations.
- Offers expert styling and brand knowledge to make suggestions that align with client preferences.
- Educates clients on merchandise, events, promotions, laws, policies, and services.
- Provides forward thinking, out of the box solutions to unique store issues and customer complaints, escalating those issues and complaints to management when necessary.
- Self‐motivated; takes initiative to increase individual productivity.
- Utilizes digital tools and social media to connect with clients, serve their needs, and follow up as necessary.
- Assists in operational tasks.
- Accurately uses and maintains the Point of Sale (POS) system. Aptitude for learning new computer and technology software and systems.
- Correct inventory & cash handling, discount application, and transaction processing.
- Ensures the sales floor is properly stocked, and that the presence of the store is well maintained and effectively merchandised.
- Partners with others to provide the best client experience, sharing cannabis product knowledge to contribute to the strength and growth of the team.
- Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration; maintains positive working relationships throughout the company.
- Keeps abreast of cannabis industry trends and Monko's latest product offerings. Uses knowledge to educate customers about various strains and how the products are used.
- Demonstrates extensive product knowledge and complies with Initiative 71 rules and regulations.
- Informs clients about the benefits of different terpenes, cannabinoids, and consumption methods.
- Acts with respect, honesty and integrity while actively promoting the company.
- Available to work varied hours/days, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand the duration of the shift and perform routine tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
· Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis, the industry, and the lifestyle is strongly preferred.
· Passion for fashion and apparel is strongly preferred.
· Positive attitude and outgoing personality required.
· Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in Cannabis or high-end, high-volume retail strongly preferred.
· Strong communication skills required.
· Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn new software and systems.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
