Multiple shifts available - Days and Nights - 8-hour shift.
Responsibilities:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians. The Registered Nurse (RN) works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and contributes to each patient's individual treatment plan by helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.
- Administer health assessments and complete necessary forms.
- Administer and read TB tests.
- Referrals to appropriate health agencies.
- Providing health education on a variety of topics to clients, including but not limited to: general health care, medication, diabetes, safe sex, dual diagnosis, and nutrition.
- Provide resource materials.
- Technical consultation for Mental Health Workers.
- Observes medication procedures and make recommendations.
- One-on-One nursing counseling as needed.
- Keep staff appraised of any potential client issues.
- Medical records documentation as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
- RN license within the State of Arizona required.
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Experience 1 Year experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred)
- License/Certifications RN Registered Nurse License (Required)
- BLS (Required)
- Restraint Reduction de-escalation / crisis intervention experience preferred.
Salary : $90,000 - $93,600
