What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Monumental Markets?
At Monumental Markets, we're looking to expand our Accounting team with a Staff Accountant. In this role, you'll be integral to the day-to-day operations of our growing business and will partner closely with our Accounting Manager to support company objectives and collaborate to drive operational efficiencies. You'll take a hands-on approach to develop new processes and policies to effectively manage the increasing operational complexity resulting from company growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Accounting department in all aspects, to include Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Payroll, Inventory, Financial Reporting and Fixed Asset Accounting
- Support the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Work continuously with all functional areas of the business to identify opportunities for process improvements through automation or other means to improve efficiency, the accuracy or timeliness of information and internal controls
- Aid in identifying cost saving opportunities across the business
- Develop and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to understand operations and information needs
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related field
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Inherent curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years Sage experience preferred

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
