Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Material Analyst (1st Shift) to join them. You will report to the Production Coach. And will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.
To be considered for a Material Analyst, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- HS diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.
- 6 months experience in a Material Handler role preferred
- Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity
As a Material Analyst, you will:
- Understand and follow Moog's documentation, production schedules, spreadsheets, prints, BOM's, planning, inventory data, and MRP data/reports
- Maintain EBOM's
- Maintain schedules weekly, keeping legible and accurate records to report releases, completions and shortages.
- Issue and kit components
- Process and submit material related work flows
- Administer material request sheets
- Provide production material to departments
- Maintain log and shelf life
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile variances
- Assist with department run-downs
- Perform other duties as assigned
