People & Culture Manager (m/f/d)
THIS ROLE IS BASED IN BERLIN, RELOCATION PROVIDED
Navigating the scale-up phase can be one of the most challenging times in a company’s growth story. With this in mind, one of our main priorities here at Moonfare is to keep employee experience at the forefront. We achieve this by monitoring employee engagement by introducing data driven changes to the employee experience, providing tailored training and industry leading tools to ensure our team is set up for success as well as guaranteeing an exceptional onboarding process. We are looking for a People & Culture Manager who will join our People & Culture team in the conceptualisation and delivery of P&C projects, partner with teams to deliver positive, impactful outcomes and proactively identify areas which will improve every employee’s journey throughout their time at Moonfare.
You will:
- Be the first point of contact for employee queries and tackle them with a pragmatic and customer focused approach
- Liaise with the People Partner to identify areas of action needed on an individual, team and company level
- Create employment contracts, supplements and other legal documents
- Deliver and drive continuous improvement of our onboarding experience
- Participate in a multitude of projects aimed at DEI initiatives, Learning and Development, internal process optimisation, etc.
- Develop new & improve existing people processes, policies and tools
- Preparation and reviewing payroll
- Produce detailed reports and dashboards on HR analytics for the team and leadership
The next Moonfarian:
- 3 years experience in a People role ideally within a startup environment
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Well versed in German labour law
- Previous experience implementing & developing employee onboarding processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German;
- Natural ability to build and maintain relationships whilst dealing with sensitive information
- An analytical problem solver who makes data driven decisions and can think both commercially and outside the box
- High attention to detail used in creating, editing and amending workplace documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is beneficial
