Human Resources Generalist

Moore Colson is thrilled to announce an enticing opportunity for a proactive and driven HR Generalist to become part of our team! In this role, the HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the human resources functions and initiatives of Moore Colson. You will be a key liaison between employees and management, fostering a positive work environment, contributing to the overall success of the organization, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process and communicate HR-related paperwork, such as promotions and terminations.
• Manage employee files and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

• Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with management to promote positive employee relations and a respectful work environment.
• Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
• Maintain accurate leave records and coordinate with payroll to ensure proper time-off tracking and payment
• Administer and support the performance management process for the firm and it’s departments
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes as needed.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge with HRIS and Performance Management Platforms needed.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• DISC knowledge or certification is a plus.
