Moosehaven is currently seeking a Maintenance Tech 2 or 3 position - Pay range is based experience:
We have a full time 40 hour work week position
Be the PERSON you want to work with...
- Performs minor and or major repairs/replacements of equipment.
- Displays excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for multiple systems and equipment.
- Displays technical knowledge on multiple types of equipment and systems according to standards set by the management team
- Has basic knowledge of systems (i.e., fire sprinkler, fire alarm, domestic water, heating water, boiler, HVAC, nurse call, electrical).
- Preventative maintenance on equipment (i.e., compressors, vac pumps, exhaust fans, air handlers, vents, fan coil units, water coolers, refrigerators, ice machines, golf carts, bicycles, etc.) in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- May perform daily rounds to provide service, repair and maintenance on transport equipment, wheelchairs; TVs, nurse call systems; medical gas outlets, alarm panels and zone valve locations and other equipment as assigned
- Repair or replace faulty or damaged mechanical, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and boiler equipment. Repairs leaking connections, fittings, couplings and fixtures, faucets, washers, seats, stems and valves; replaces spigots, faucets, and valves; unstops obstructed plumbing lines and fixtures
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performance of duties
WORKING CONDITIONS (Typical work environment):
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
