OVERVIEW:
The purpose and function of this position is to prepare new and used vehicles interior, exterior, undercarriage, wheels, trunk and engine compartments to a new like appearance through the use of the tools and equipment provided.
Duties
- Many vehicles will require carpet dying, shampoo, stain removal, buffing, wet sanding, polishing, waxing, upholstery and fabric sealing, paint sealing and more.
- Vehicles, new and used will require proper tagging, labeling, inspection, addendums installed, damage identified and reported, personal items found in cars turned in to management and reported.
- Vehicles will need to be secured, parked in designated areas and have keys secured at all times.
- Detailers will come in contact with customers from time to time and are to maintain a professional appearance and treat customers in a professional manner at all times.
- Detailers are to keep a clean work area, proper hygiene, assigned work wear and safety equipment at all times.
- Detailers will follow all safety instructions and company policies at all times.
- Detailers will participate in lot washing of all inventory vehicles as assigned by supervisor.
