Requirments:
Bachelor’s degree in management, accounting, human services, or related field required as well as 5 years of relevant experience. Head Start experience preferred. Technical and computer skills required. Good organization and communication skills. Proven progressively responsible supervisory/management experience including working with boards and advisory committees.
Employee works under the supervision of the Head Start Director.
1. (20%) Assists in the development and implementation of effective, integrated management systems and organizational structures providing input to the development of budgets and grants, which support the administration of Head Start/Early Head Start program services.
2. (15%) Oversees all professional development activities, tracking of progress toward required training and goals. Schedules all professional development activities for the program year and oversees the expenditures. Assist Director in creation of the yearly training plan and budget. Inputs training into TrainTN database.
3. (20%) Assists with the oversight of the Head Start program which may include but not limited to reviewing and revising program policies, procedures, and guidelines and maintaining database of all updates.
4. (15%) Maintains computer network, website, and employee email accounts and oversees facility needs.
5. (15%) Establish and maintain relationships and partnerships with public schools, community agencies and stakeholders. Develop collaborative relationships with community partners to enhance delivery of services to children and families.
6. (15%) Assist in the compilation and completion of self-assessment, community assessment, PIR, and yearly grant application. Participates in the analysis of data for training and planning purposes. Provides staff support for required accountability reports.
