Job Description

The Program Supervisor at Morningside is responsible for assisting the Program Manager with the operations of employment services delivery, which may include job development, job coaching, community protection, and high school transition. Services delivery will follow established policies, procedures, accreditation requirements, and referral source standards. Mentor and train team members to meet contractual requirements and performance outcomes. As a member of the service delivery team, actively participate in creating and implementing the team's strategic plan and achieving program goals.

What you’ll do:
 

  • Responsible for the day to day organization, direction, and quality of assigned program services, including direct staff mentorship such as work assignments, problem resolution, and goal setting/achieving.
  • In conjunction with the Program Manager, responsible for consistently and actively managing all assigned programs.
  • Supervise and train assigned staff to meet contractual requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to staff regarding the provision and documentation of services.
  • In conjunction with Program Manager, the Program Supervisor is responsible for coaching and evaluating staff, including assisting teammates in developing and executing their professional development plans and goals.
  • Responsible for reporting billing information, as assigned by the Program Manager, according to the established submission process and schedule.
  • Monitor and evaluate the safety of employees, clients, and customers; continually assess the physical environment to minimize and/or eliminate potentially hazardous situations.

 

You’ll also need to be able to…

  • Manage and mentor assigned staff to meet or exceed minimum performance expectations of their assigned roles, including billable hours and meeting contract requirements.
  • Report the status of their staff's performance to performance standards, goals, and objectives to the Program Manager on a routine or as-needed basis, as agreed upon with the Program Manager.
  • The accurate and timely completion of billing information in compliance with the submission process and schedule.
  • Ensure positive, timely, and effective communication between all stakeholders, including clients, parents, guardians, residential providers, staff, and employers.
  • Provide services by following established policies, procedures, accreditation requirements, and referral source standards.
  • Maximize Morningside revenue by ensuring staff is timely assigned client caseloads to meet or exceed the terms and conditions of the current contracts. Ensure the safety of employees, clients, and customers by evaluating the physical environment to minimize and/or eliminate potentially hazardous situations.
  • Complete all responsibilities and interact with staff, clients, families, and other community members following Morningside's Mission and Values.

 

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Two years closely related experience to include: providing employment services to individuals with disabilities or significant barriers; staff supervision; general program management including budget preparation and management, marketing, and contract compliance.
  • Approved First Aid and CPR certification required within 14 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
  • Continuing employment requires incumbents to maintain possession of a valid Washington State driver's license and minimum Washington State liability auto insurance; pass a drug test; pass any/all required background checks; and ability to be bonded.
  • Employees shall complete all training as required by applicable laws and regulations; funder contracts; and as directed by the Morningside Training Committee.

Compensation: 
Starting pay for this position is $53,154.00 Pay Range 119 (Exempt) or higher, depending on qualifications.
Merit increases are available regularly when meeting and exceeding outcomes.

Travel: Travel may be required for this position for client treatment or training purposes. Agency vehicles are available for use.
