What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at Moroccanoil?
Overview:
The temporary Account Coordinator – NYC is responsible for representing Moroccanoil hair and body products, to the end consumer. The Account Coordinator will work with existing retailers within NYC to drive retail sales through instore sales support, events and by servicing customers through product demonstration and strong sales ability.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Understand and represent the Moroccanoil brand messaging and image to support all facets of the business out in the marketplace within New York City
- Increase sales in NYC to achieve daily retail sales goal.
- Communicate to National Sales Director all by store inventory needs to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are maintained based on the needs of the business.
- Maintain visual merchandising brand guidelines, based on Moroccanoil’s specific by retailer planograms; ensuring each account adheres to the Moroccanoil merchandising brand standards.
- Partner with National Sales Director to coordinate and execute successful events within NYC stores. Support each event by setting up/taking down all event tools (banners, placemats etc.), merchandising collateral and in store gifting, (TOA’s, GWP’s).
- Identify by store seasonal education needs; partnering with Edu/Events Executive to support based on the specific needs of the retailer.
- Submitting all required internal forms in a timely manner, time sheets (if applicable).
- Communicate to management competitive information when and where applicable.
- Communicate all business needs when applicable.
- Adhere to weekly schedule to support retailer’s various promotional programs.
- Work 4-5 days weekly, position requires a weekend schedule (min of a Sat or a Sun) three times a month.
Skills & Abilities
- Minimum 4 years beauty industry experience working with premium beauty brands.
- Prior Account Coordinator experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
