Position Description
The Buyer Analyst 1 position is primarily an administrative position to support the Purchasing Department; Buyers and Drop-Ship staff. This role will also collaborate with the Category Management, Generic Sourcing and Pricing teams to implement the addition of new vendors, items, and pricing changes.
Key Responsibilities
New Vendor and Item additions to the AS400.
Scan vendor ADRs, COIs, Licenses etc. into the system.
Vendor and Item information maintenance.
Address changes, 3PL changes etc.
NDC changes, description and item status maintenance etc.
Vendor Price changes.
Submission of Shelf Stock Adjustments to vendors.
Updating of Profitability system.
Maintain price inflation logs.
Pricing Team price changes.
Processing of DEA Form 222s for narcotic product orders.
Organization of materials in physical files.
Order tracking and clean-up for Buyers.
Monitoring the purchasing email account.
Critical Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in pharmaceutical product knowledge preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel – Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Word etc.).
Experience working cross functionally across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Additional Skills
Pharmaceutical or other healthcare industry experience preferred. Rx product knowledge preferred.
Manage multiple projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving.
AS400 knowledge and experience preferred
Education
4-year college degree preferred
Combination of education and experience desired
