What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Clerk- Legal Office position at Morrow County Clerk of Courts?
The Morrow County Clerk of Courts is looking for an organized and highly motivated full time deputy clerk for the legal office. The applicant must be a quick learner, detail oriented, efficient and able to work amicably with the public, attorneys and attorney offices, court staff, law enforcement, and other county offices.
Qualified candidates must have:
- broad knowledge of office practices and procedures
- excellent computer keyboarding
- proficient in Windows based computer systems
- good analytical and organizational skills
- mathematical abilities
- efficient filing capabilities
- outstanding communication skills
- ability to multi-tasking
- fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel
The candidate must have the ability to maintain harmonious and respectful working relationships with the public and employees. Customer service, professional appearance and demeanor of high importance for the position. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Required background check and references required. Knowledge with legal terminology and procedures a plus. A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
