Primary Responsibilities:
Mosaic Catering Events is looking for experienced event people to join our Lighting Production department in RVA. We currently have a sales position open and are looking for candidates with 3 years of event experience with lighting, production, and sales.
Key Components:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Lead, manage, and coordinated sales and sales support team.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to provide support materials and solutions to project and client-based needs.
- Ability to communicate with other vendors, lighting designers, contractors, AV integrators, and installers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings and use creative ways and ideas to meet clients' goals.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Timely proposals, layouts, and email responses
- Work with the production team on setups
- Visit and create relationships with venues, networking
- Cultivate new business to meet sales goals
- Must be a self-starter and motivated to grow the business
- Represent and provide market exposure for products and services at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Skills and qualifications:
- Preferably 5 years in the event lighting industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate
- Technically oriented with knowledge of LED lighting, lighting controls, and event design.
- Understanding of design and documentation processes such as design reports.
- Strong written/spoken English (Spanish is a PLUS).
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to lift, reach with hands and arms, and stand for extended periods of time and use fingers (keyboard etc.) to handle or feel.
- The incumbent is required to have a valid driver’s license and have the ability to drive.
