General Repair Technician C

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
- Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components.
- Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
- Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
- Document maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Work under general supervision.
- Maintain complex support equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components.
- Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components.
- Conduct complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment.
- Perform a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
- Document maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems.
- Work with minimal direction.
- Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents.
- Document maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED combined with 4 years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Secret Clearance
- Must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work.
- Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation
- Experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment.
- Ability to work all shifts of a 24/7 work schedule.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
- Preferred Qualifications (desired skills and experience):
- Experience using Microsoft Office Applications.General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background.
