Motherlode Co-Packing is a fast-growing contract manufacturer that specializes in foods like BBQ sauces, hot sauces, shelf-stable dressings, and cooking sauces, which can be found on grocery store shelves nation-wide. We are looking for a skilled Inventory Supervisor to lead a team that will monitor and report on the company's warehouse inventory levels, as well as provide logistical support to our manufacturing departments by maintaining stock of raw materials used to make our products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cycle counts of all raw materials in the warehouse.
- Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
- Organize and train a team to perform cycle-counts of raw material inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Organize inventory team members to perform internal deliveries to two separate production departments.
- Organize inventory team members tore-stock unused raw materials after production departments complete production.
- Inspect levels of raw materials to identify shortages.
- Report to Upper Management on stock levels, issues, etc.
- Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.
- Use software to monitor demand and document inventory adjustments.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as an inventory supervisor or similar position
- Working knowledge of inventory management software and or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- Analytical mind with strong math skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking and planning skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy and reliable
Work Environment:
- Stand and move all day
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequently using stairs, bending, reaching, pulling, kneeling, etc.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is to be worn at all times including company uniform, hair net, beard net if applicable and safety glasses which will be provided by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
