Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Type: PRN (Mon-Fri; provide coverage as needed. Will discuss workdays and schedule during interview.)
Job Location: Will provide coverage as needed at our following Suffolk County outpatient clinics:
- 521 Route 111, Hauppauge, NY
- 775 Park Avenue, Huntington, NY
Salary Description: $70.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Physical Therapist responsibilities include ...
- Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses.
- Devising creative treatment plans for individuals suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases.
- Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person.
- Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
- Medical Specialties at the clinic include ortho, neuro, and sports medicine.
- Adolescents (8 yrs and up), Adults, and geriatric outpatient caseload.
Qualifications
- NYS Physical Therapist License
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- CPR and first aid certification required
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic as a licensed therapist
