What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Compensation Manager position at Motive?
About the Role:
As the Sales Compensation Manager, you will oversee incentive compensation operations and design for our Finance department. In this high impact role, you will work closely with executives and internal functions including Sales, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and HR to insure our incentive compensation acheive operational excellence.
You will run our sales compensation operations on a month to month basis using Xactly. This will be a key position to help KeepTruckin continue to scale rapidly to achieve IPO readiness.
What You'll Do:
- Complete administration of Sales Compensation Plan. Documentation changes, updating hierarchies, rolling up quotas, distribution of plans
- Maintain and improve sales comp system configuration to streamline plan administration in Xactly
- Track payout performance of plans
- Provide forecasts of expected payouts especially as performance moves in to potential escalators
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years prior experience working with enterprise software sales compensation plans
- Experience with sales teams geared to different customer segments (SMB to enterprise)
- Experience taking a company from start-up mode to public company
- Direct experience with Xactly a BIG plus, incentive compensation system experience required
