What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Strategic Analyst position at Motive?
About the Role:
As a member of the Strategic Analytics team, you will be focused on driving growth in the company through leveraging all our internal data sets. You will be a senior member of the GTM team focused on all things Pricing & Sales Efficiency at the company. This role will be responsible for foundational models that will be used to better evaluate our investment framework across segments. Beyond understanding the fidelity of these selling motions, you will also be responsible for better understanding the elasticity across our customer base. In this role you will work with leaders across the company and will be expected to:
Strategize - Work on understanding and optimizing how the business operates.
Analyze – Build models and metrics to evaluate the products and business.
Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making to run tests and ask questions as to how we could get more information to drive our business
What You’ll Do:
- Build high level business and financial metrics
- Understand how to build experiments
- Be able to use data to build to inform decision making
- Build and mentor a team over time
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years analytical and/or business operations work experience
- Enjoy solving loosely defined problems and good at evaluating where to spend time to drive the most value
- Someone who can use data to inform the business
- Technical curiosity with ability to clearly present their insights
- Strong technical skills with SQL and Python/R
