Position Overview
The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the testing alignment, repair and proper operation of Surveillance, Security and Gaming Agents CCTV electronic equipment. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Mount Airy Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.

Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the testing alignment, repair and proper operation of Surveillance, Security and Gaming Agents CCTV electronic equipment.
- Implements preventive maintenance programs designed to eliminate system failures.
- Trouble shoots problem areas and makes recommendations to management for solutions.
- Acts a liaison with Mount Airy Casino Engineering Department to facilitate the installation of cameras on the gaming property.
- Serves as back-up Surveillance Agent in non-gaming areas in the property when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the quality, consistency and presentation of all products and services.
- Attends meetings as necessary.
- Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Must be able to perform each of the essential functions and responsibilities satisfactorily.
- Must be a minimum 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- One year related experience required.
- Must have the technical ability to operate and work on audio/visual equipment.
- Proficient computer/PC skills.
- Possesses excellent customer service, organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Possesses strong interpersonal qualities.
- Flexible to work any scheduled shifts and/or days, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Pennsylvania Gaming License, if necessary.

- Must be able to stand, walk and move through all property areas. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental state of mind to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and effectively deal with guests, management, employees and members of the business community.
- Adequate manual dexterity, including hand and wrist movement to operate office equipment and perform light lifting.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required by the PGCB.
- Must be able to handle exposure to areas where smoking is permitted.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Must have oral and aural acuity and ability to respond to cues.
