What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant/Scheduler position at Mountain Heating & Cooling?

Mountain Heating & Cooling is a small and growing family owned HVAC company. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, people oriented front desk receptionist/scheduler to complement our team and embark on a career of working in the HVAC industry. You will be responsible for the voice of the company so you must have exceptional customer service and phone skills.

You will be responsible for handling multi line phones, scheduling appointments, answering emails and taking payments from customers. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Knowledge of routing calls for multiple technicians and install teams is required for this position. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Experience with scheduling software is a plus (experience with House Call Pro even a bigger plus) but it can be easily taught.

Looking for a motivated individual who can interact positively with our clients and able to deal with difficult customer from time to time. Duties include scheduling appointments, relaying information to clients follow up appointments along with cost for the job, taking payments over the phone, updating our data base along with warranty company databases, keeping the front office area clean and organized, checking emails and phone messages. This is just a list of a few things this position will be doing. The idea is to have it grow into more as we continue to grow as a company.

Must have at least 2 years experience working in a fast paced office environment and multiline phone experience and data entry.

This full-time Scheduler/Receptionist position starts at $16/hr Plus benefits. Our full-time employees enjoy benefits including 50% employer paid medical, dental, vision and also paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays. The hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Our technicians are supplied with the required PPE and our in office staff is very small.
