What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurofeedback Provider/Counselor position at Mountain Vista Psychology, PLLC?
Mountain Vista Psychology, PLLC is hiring a counselor/neurofeedback provider who wants to work in a positive team. MVP is a private practice that specializes in evidence based assessment and treatment for Anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We primarily work with children, teens, and adults. Teen and Adult Counselor Responsibilities and Duties
- Successful work with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with Anxiety, trauma, ASD, or ADHD
- Willingness to use client evaluation to inform your work (Outcome Rating Scales)
-We are private pay and Medicaid practice so new team member will work with both populations.
- Experience counseling a variety of ages
- Openness to learning neurofeedback as this is part of the position (this position will hire a candidate who wants to provide neurofeedback and is willing to be trained)
- Good communication skills and ability to relate well to children, teens, and adults
- Willingness to work some evenings and/or Saturday hours
Teen and Adult Counselor Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC/LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT-C/LMFT), or Master’s in Social Work (LSW-C/LCSW) preferred. Must be licensed or registered with DORA and working toward licensure if not already licensed.
- Responsible and passionate about helping others
