What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Puller position at Mountainland Supply Company?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of customer service is always provided
- Transfer materials from storage or work sites to the designated area by hand or using a hand truck, electric dolly, or forklift
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, or product code using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
- Determine the location for retrieval of items using a radio frequency gun (RF gun)
- Maintain and compile records as required including the record of inventory
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or transfer orders to packing station or shipping department
- May assist in maintaining a clean/orderly warehouse and yard
- Perform other various duties, as outlined by supervisor
- Exude, understand, and demonstrate actions according to the Company’s core values. These core values are courage, commitment, collaboration, compassion, ownership, and optimism
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months related experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to safely drive a forklift
- Ability to work in excessively hot and cold conditions due to outside environment of the warehouse
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
