Primary Purpose
Perform installations, maintenance and repair work on any computer related equipment from laptops, desktops, communications equipment (digital & IP phones), tablets (ex. iPad’s), smart phones (ex. iPhone’s), printers, local area networks, any piece of computer related peripheral or software for end users. Respond to maintenance tickets. Provide a high level of customer service to the end user.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or insuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Qualifications
- Related On-the-Job Training/Vocational School or Associate's Degree.
- 1-year related work experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook email client.
- Basic understanding of PC and network hardware.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
