Our partner is looking for a master's level therapist to join their rehabilitation center and start making a positive impact.
What you will be doing:
The Clinical Therapist is a vital piece to the team as well as the rehabilitation process. Your primary responsibility will be assessing, evaluating, and working closely with clients during their time at the rehabilitation center. This could be in the form of one on one, group, or family sessions.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and patients.
- Establish and achieve realistic goals within a position.
- Responsible for daily operations of facility.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of patient treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient care weekly by assessing patients.
- Implement plans for Performance Improvement.
- Evaluate quality of program on an ongoing basis and develop cost-effective methods to provide services.
- Design the initial and master treatment plan proposals following the recommendations of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Evaluate the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.
- Supervise all clinical activities, assuring comfort and safety of the patients.
- Contribute to effective teamwork by combining skills and energies in a coordinated manner, keeping a positive interaction, and building a sense of community and high morale within agency.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, patients, and guests.
- Supervise all clinical staff members and activities, which include monitor groups, individual therapy, and charting to maintain the highest standard of quality and effectiveness.
- Maintaining the clinical charts and implementing PI / QA corrective action plans so as to ensure documentation compliance.
- Deliver direct patient services, such as primary therapist, performing individual and group therapist sessions, case management, discharge planning and documentation as needed.
- Facilitate communication with ancillary services and oversees case management services.
