MPL Rentals is growing with residential properties and self storage facilties throughout Pa., and is looking for a dynamic leasing agent to join our team at our Lebanon Office. This is a full -time position; approximately 35-40 hours per week
This individual will be responsible for the same functions as a leasing manager in addition to leading and managing daily tasks and supervision of leasing manager
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate lease paperwork and moving in new residents.
- Track progress of all leasing through on-going follow through system.
- Successfully market vacant units and renew occupied units.
- Conduct market surveys to analyze competitors.
- Conduct property tours to prospective residents demonstrating the property’s amenities.
- Follow-up with potential residents and residents who are up for renewal until the lease is “closed”.
- Conduct credit checks an income verification on prospective residents while maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Draft leases for new residents and renewals for current residents.
- Prepare welcome packages for new residents.
- Schedule move-in/move-outs (keys).
- Provide customer service to current residents.
- Plan and coordinate events to promote resident retention.
- Process maintenance work orders.
- General administrative duties (i.e. filing, answering phones, mail, faxing, email, collecting rent).
- Attend and participate in property staff meetings.
- Efficiently multi-task and prioritize various activities.
- Completion of internal training
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management
Qualified candidates must have:
- Prior Leasing Office experience 2 years
- Must be outgoing and friendly with a good personality
- Must be dependable.
- Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with App-folio CRM
- Administrative Skills - Answering phones, filing, typing, emailing correspondence, faxing, mailing and data entry
- Analytical Skills - Analyzing leases, work orders, identifying discrepancies on invoices, evaluating prospective residents’ needs and how to resolve them
- Communication/Language Skills - Written/oral communication with staff and residents, interaction with vendors and marketing contacts, policies and procedures
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, property management software
- Coordinating Skills - Scheduling resident activities, prospective resident appointments and prioritizing tasks
- Creative Skills - Marketing presentations, sales and leasing
- Mathematical Skills - Calculating lease balances, move-in costs, credit/debit to income, pro-rating leases, calculating special rates (i.e. pets and garages)
- Other Skills - Confidentiality, customer service, diplomacy, initiative, team orientation and time management

- Full time position
- 35-40 hours/week
- 5 days/week
- 6-8 hours/day
- Monday-Friday
