Mpower is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Recruiter at our Brooklyn, New York Headquarters
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner closely with leaders at all levels of the Company to select and hire top talent for the firm. From assessing a role, building out a job description, sourcing, selecting, and negotiating and extending the offer. The Corporate Recruiter is a pivotal function within the organization, being responsible for facilitating and procuring the best talent to join the Mpower team.
Responsibilities
- Actively source and engage active and passive talent by leveraging job boards, inbound resumes, referrals, external recruiting partners, and more
- Develop strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates utilizing various recruitment sources
- Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
- Establish relationships with universities and relevant recruitment organizations
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- Experience in an Energy company is preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team, in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter able to work well under pressure
- Precious experience navigating key sourcing websites as well as internal ATS systems
