What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Mr. Rogers Windows?
Mr. Rogers Windows is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail, high level of integrity and trust to handle confidential material, able to work alone and with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Prepare and process Journal entries
- Process and File Monthly Sales Tax reports
- Accounts Receivables
- Customer financing
- Assist with Month End Reconciliation
- Assist with preparation on Monthly Financial Statements
- Assist with Year End Closing Process
- Assist with Annual Renewals
- Assist with Documenting business processes and policies to maintain internal controls
- Back up other team members with daily duties as needed
- Other projects as assigned by Controller and President
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 3 years of accounting experience
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of technical and accounting functions
- A self-starter able to work independently and with a team
- Able to meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and trust to handle confidential material
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
