We’re looking for an energetic individual interested in helping with taking the team to another level of performance. The HR Business Partner – Learning & Development (HRBP), working with the AIS Executive team, will build and drive training and development that promotes AIS’s culture. In addition, this role is the main HR resource within the AIS business and is able to leverage our parent company resources for support processes (recruiting, talent management, HRIS, benefits, etc.) and knowledge sharing.

Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
60% Learning, Development, and Performance Management
- Strategizes with managers to support the business from a human capital perspective. Synthesizes complex information, collects, and researches data to design and develop procedures, particularly those focused on learning, development, and performance management.
- Identifies and resolves gaps at both the individual and team levels, develops alternative solutions, uses reason and coaching and/or mentoring to bring about and address individual and team development, training, and performance management.
20% Strategic Planning
- Understands the business and the organizations’ strengths and weaknesses. Analyses and understands business implications of decisions, including orientations to profitability and the company’s strategic goals.
- Communicates and maintains strategic and workforce planning such as staffing solutions, workforce development, and succession planning.
15% Manage Human Resource Business
- Fully accountable for the implementation and administration of HR-related processes, practices, policies, and outcomes within the business as instructed.
- Consults with and advises the business on compensation and benefits administration, including job descriptions, rewards and recognition programs, salary recommendations, annual merit and incentive processes, and certain benefits.
- The HRBP collaborates with the Parent company and other HR subject matter experts to collaborate on implementation of strategies and solutions to address business needs, and organizational and operational improvement as instructed by the AIS management team.
- Advises department managers and supervisors on company policies, procedures, and employment and labor law. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
5% Participation in special projects and additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Strong working knowledge of organizational design/development, performance and talent management, and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, or related area preferred.
- Experience leading customized learning, development, and performance management.
- PHR and/or SPHR certification preferred.
- Minimum of six years of experience in Human Resources required.
- Experience working within an HRM system is preferred.

- Looks for and seeks out opportunities and ideas for building and accentuating business strategies, goals, and plans.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel occasionally is required.
- Due to MSC being a federal contractor all associates must be fully vaccinated to work at MSC or any of our entities.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
