What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Client Services position at MRA?
An MRA member is looking to add a Director of Client Services to their team. This member offers HR services to their clients.
This position directly oversees the Account Management Team to ensure client retention, growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This successful leader will be directly responsible for implementing the contractual obligations to ensure high-quality service is delivered to the clients, thereby achieving the financial targets of the business. In addition, this leader will work with senior leadership on interrelated department issues and projects and may also retain direct ownership of key client relationships.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement account retention strategies
- Create, measure, and hold accountable team members to departmental goals
- Track and present KPI’s regularly to the Account Management Team as well as to senior leadership
- Establish and maintain senior client relationships
- Ensure smooth implementation of new clients and services
- Establish appropriate communication level with clients to enable effective implementation and joint monitoring and compliance of our contract
- Ensure that newly developed concepts, latest technology and methods are utilized to the client's best advantage
- Solve as expeditiously as possible any problem and solve any client dissatisfaction issues
- Prepare client business reviews and presentations, including the inclusion of data and data analysis
- Joint accountability for the financial targets set for the account(s) both in growth as well as achievement of the bottom line
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, along with a minimum of five years of account or client management experience required
- Proven account retention required
- Strong leadership skills required
- Strong communication and relationship management skills required
- Ability to plan strategically and analyze financial data required
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Ticketing system experience preferred
- Reporting tool experience preferred
