Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers (MRCE) is seeking part time Office Assistant.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Office Assistant assists with file management and maintenance as well as scanning paper documents and arranging for file warehousing or destruction. You will organize paperwork according to an efficient filing system and digitize documents. The Office Assistant will also assist with general filing, general office support, and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Finance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
File Management:

- Reviewing paper files (for example, of closed projects) and advising Director of Finance of any issues.
- Scanning of paper files, boxing and arranging for warehousing or destruction of paper files.
- Locate missing paper or electronic files as needed
- Shred documents (on request)
- Maintaining electronic warehouse index.
- Maintain electronic files and accurate file list database
- Data entry – such as maintaining log records (for example, construction site “boring” logs
Office Support Services:

- Refrigerator clean out (monthly)
- Dishwasher operations (2x weekly)
- Update warehouse list.
- Arrange conference rooms, as requested by reception/staff
- Support assembly of mailings (statements, announcements, cards, etc.)
- Provide mail room assistance as needed
- Stand-in as reception/operator as needed
- Assist with special projects as needed.
