Registered Nurse (RN)

MRI of Reston is seeking an amazing nurse to join our team in our outpatient facility in Reston, VA! We are a well-established outpatient imaging center, and we are looking for a new team member to continue our growth and success.

MRI of Reston has an immediate opportunity for a full-time evening shift, Monday -Friday. 32-40 hours a week. (hours to be discussed with applicant)

As a member of the team you will have the following responsibilities:

• Administer contrast injection to patients as needed and monitor the patient’s status during the testing.
• Identify unexpected reactions in patients during procedures
• Providing care for allergic reactions to IV contrast;
• Work closely with clinical technologists or radiologists of any unusual patient needs
• Assist technologist with rooming and screening patients
• Provide medication and iv supply/implant supply control.
• Offering quality nursing care and generating a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees;
• Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients;
• Administering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered;
• Providing positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions;
• Completing other duties as directed.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Two years of clinical experience with contrast reaction mitigation preferred;
• One year of clerical experience preferred;
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.
